Right now i am building a 383 stroker for my pickup truck. 1987 Chevy Scottsdale lifted on 33s. As f right now I have a turbo 350 in the truck. That tranny leaks so much tranny fluid it is ridiculous. When I drop the new motor in, I will also be rebuilding my exciting tranny or replacing it with a different rebuilt one. What transmission wild you recommend putting in my truck behind a 383 stroker??

I prefer an automatic

I'd keep the Th350 if it were me. It'll be quite pricey to get a different input on the Tcase for the Th400, not to mention cutting driveshafts. Th350 is not a bad transmission. I'd just build it with a Stage 1 or RV shift kit, and a hardened outer intermediate race gear.
