1986 Silverado 305/350c saddle tanks. No hoses are attached to it. If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated. And I know about the shorted wire. Still trying to chase that thing down on why it did it. Not sure when though.

Or this it looks as if it should have two small hoses attached but nothing was there when I got the truck

looks like a torque converter lockup vacuum switch

Yes, the vac switch by the booster is the Conveter Lock Up switch. Most confuse the one closer to the AC unit side as the lock up swtich, and it's not. That one is a Tip In switch for the Electronic Spark control. The one you pictured is Converter Lock Up.
