Wow !!! Yepper, that one is a gonner. I sure hope mine in the 454 looks that bad. It's making so damn much racket now, I won't drive it. I've help off on fixing it, cuz I'm thinking the A883 manual 4 speed trans is going behind the 454 and into the K10, so why spend $40 on a flexplate that only works with the externally balanced Fo Fitty Fo? If I have to do that, may as well put the $40 into the flywheel purchase.

I am pretty sure I could tap on the center piece and it would fall out.

In your case if you don't have to drive it, no sense in replacing it till to decide what you are going to do.
