Ok, Nothing has been hooked up to it since I got the truck, Should I hook it up?? Whats the cons if I don't or difference if I do? Sorry about all the questions, Just too educated on the whole torque converter lock up.

Depends on if you have one of those 2 transmissions. If not, then take it off or whatever you want to do with it.

My truck has the same deal, It has a 700r4. Its been like that since the day I got it. I always see it, but never wondered what it was for. My trucks been running good for years now, and as far as I know, its never been hooked up.

Yep, I bet his duct work in the cab don't distribute very well from the air handler.

The strap is just there, everything is grounded in other ways.. I guess.. I didn't even notice that vac line there before, Thanks for pointing that out, I'll have to see where it goes. Everything works great inside the cab so not sure. I know the guy who had it before did some work on the truck, but still learning as I go as to what is factory and no longer used and what is needed as of now.
