What is this noise/chirp…speedometer cable?

There is a chirping or squeaking sound coming from the inside of cab near instrument cluster. Sounds like it corresponds to something rotating, gets faster as wheels turn faster. I think it must be the speedometer cable…anyone experienced something similar?

Yep, speedo cable. You can reach up and unclip it from the speedo, pull it down toward the floor and squirt some lube in the cable housing. Not too much though, just a couple small squirts. Motorcycle chain lube works good as it isn't runny.

Graphite is in cable lube, that’s what you should use.

Thanks for confirming my suspicion everyone, seems pretty straightforward. It will be nice to have one less noise!
