Black, red, maroon or silver would probably look good with burgandy interior. I'm partial to black but it's hard to keep clean.

If you're planning to do off-roading in it, I'd say go silver or white. If it'll be a mall crawler, I'd say black or charcoal. What was the original color?

I like silver or black with a maroon interior. What's the truck look like right now? Sometimes seeing the trucks helps with advise, but then again, colors are just opinions.

I've had lots of stuff that was black, and half of them without working AC. They get no hotter inside than anything else.

paint the out side..darker then the inside..and down the road.if you get sick of that red.you can change the inside..to a darker color..silver goes bad and gets ugly to fast..dark cherry or black..dark blue..really dark..

i had a few silver vehicles years ago and the paint all ways went bad.fadded pealed.go too a parking lot.look at silver vehicles.all most all of them.the paint is crap.go look at a dark color.still shining.like they were new..you can even change the inside.to white.if the out side is dark..go out there and check parking lots..you will see..the dark vehicles.stand out..

but chevy..has a yellow out..corvette color.paint may be high..

I'm thinking that if the silver or any other color does what you're describing wheelman it's more due to poor prep work and/or poor paint quality and not due to the silver color :waytogo:

I don't need to go to any parking lot, I work in a body shop and have been doing bodywork for the last 14 years. Silver has been one of the most popular colors for a while now and it holds up just fine. Things have changed a bit since you owned those silver cars, they were single stage paint. Now just about everything is base/clear, color has nothing to do with the durability of the paint.

I'm thinking that if the silver or any other color does what you're describing wheelman it's more due to poor prep work and/or poor paint quality and not due to the silver color :waytogo:

Yep.
