I have tinkered on them, I think it was an old Nova & vette that had a m-something but that was over 10 yrs ago, maybe 15.

I don't come across many of those either. For the last 8 yrs at least is more modern trannys, from late 80s to 00s

Not that it's my field either, I'm more engine & diagnostic, but I will study and work on other aspects when asked & paid to. Or in some cases because I needed to and couldn't afford to have things done. VERY hard to find a reputable trans rebuild in my area as well. So I'll study, and modify, etc

Maybe you are older than I thought!! LOL Necessity is always a driving force when you have these older cars and trucks. I just finished an M-22 for my Chevelle and a M-21 for a friends 56 wagon. Kinda fun!

I'm turning 40 this yr... meh, so old but not that old. Lol

I'm sorry to the OP as well, this is my last irrelevant to the post comment.

I would love to work & drive something like a Chevelle. I do prefer to own older vehicles here. I would love to own even older if I can find something more gas economical. But probably shift to an early import for that, sadly. One day I'll have a garage to fit all my "toys" lol
