I've been working on my 86 Dually with the 454. The distributor vacuum was bad, the idle was set at 950rpm, and the timing was set at 12 degrees BTDC. I put a new distributor vacuum canister in and reset the timing to the factory 4 degree BTDC and lowered the idle to 600 as it stated on the air breather. I put a new water hose on between the intake and water pump.

The voltage gauge was working before I did all this work and now it doesn't and the choke light came on and stay on. The choke is working like it should. All the other gauges are working.

Any thoughts?

Should be 2 oil pressure switches,or 1 switch 1 sender, find both and make sure they are both hooked up.
