vent window repair?

The passenger side vent window leaks. Previous owner sealed the whole vent window shut. Its still leaking on a hard rain. Is it easy to replace the seal around it or do I need to swap the whole assembly.

I never replaced the seal myself, looks like a pain in the ass. What did the PO do, silicone it shut?

yup, and a pretty shotty job at that. I posted this thread from my phone so i couldn't do a forum search. I see there are some post in the tech forum so i'm gonna search through the site and see what i find
