Undercarriage cleanup (corrosion)

Anyone know how to cleanup or get rid of the grease build up/ corrosion on the front suspension? hard to see what shape its in when you cant see nothing.

degreaser, wire brush, sand blaster, pressure washer, those are all your friends.

I guess I better wait for some warm weather. 20 degrees aint gonna help.

I usually scrap with a big flat screwdriver or putty knife first, then...

I'd wire brush it, on or off the truck, by hand or with a wire brush on a drill or grinder, but wear eye protection with either mechanical ones, they throw wires.

once done hit it with degreaser, let it soak, then pressure wash, and maybe follow up with another round of wire brushing or degreasing, then you can always sand blast once thus far to make things as close to perfect as possible.

Awsome I will start that as soon as I get my truck back thanks for the info. Time to break the Carhardts out and play in the cold with a wire brush haha.
