Ok I’m new here, my 80 k10 4x4 longbed with straight 6 250 needs new Ujoint, the old were destroyed when I got it. Width from one side compared to the other is different. Parts stores think I’m nuts and I’m too stubborn to pay a shop. Could it be the driveshaft is different from the original or can I actually find the correct Ujoint somewhere?

Measure the cap size to see if they're 1.063, 1.088 or 1.125. Then measure ujoint body length on both spans. I've got NEAPCO breakdown chart with PN's once measurement is defined.
