Hello, everybody!

For the past 15 years I have owned a 6.2-powered 1982 C10, which the previous owner pepped up with a Banks Sidewinder Turbo and a lightly built transmission. I enjoy it, I've repainted it, and we've had good times together.

Three years ago I picked up this 1982 K20 Suburban, and it's currently getting prepped to take an LS crate motor, new trans, and a full refresh including shocks, axle rebuild, seals, body mounts, paint, etc.

I'm mostly here to poke around ideas for the K20, but I'm happy to be a part of the group.

I will do so! I thought about getting rid of this truck so many times. Even had it posted for sale for a bit. Then I realized I'd rather drive this with a more modern drivetrain than any modern truck. So we hauled it out of the grass and took it to the shop.
