I bought a set of 16.5" Turbine rims for my truck and can't find the lug nuts anywhere. They are the mag style with the shank that has to much the rim, but the problem is I can't find the right diameter shank. Does anyone know where i can find lug nuts for these rims?

Actually surprisingly I found a hard to find set of lug nuts for the aluminum rims on my old GMT400 at NTB. They had them on a shelf back in their warehouse. They had to be a really deep shank. If you have a set of large drill bits see which one fits in the hole snug to get an idea of the diameter you need.

Measured the shank with a caliper and got .860, theyre the short shank style too. I've been to bonds, VIP, and a custom auto place and they couldn't find anything.

Nobody carries them anymore because the shank style aren't used often anymore. Aftermarket shank style were all the same diameter I think. I'm just not sure about the 8-lug versions, since the studs were much bigger.

OK, well my truck is 8 lug, and I have like 25 of these lug nuts and the shanks are all bigger than any other similar style lug nuts, and have the built on washer. And they fit perfectly in the rims. Hopefully these rims aren't unusable...

I'll have to figure that out, they told me at the parts store but i forgot. My truck has 8 lug 14 bolt rear end and 8 lug 10 bolt front end. I'll do a search and see if something comes up.

It seems like it varies on brake drum sizes and ring gear diam etc. I am guessing 9/16-18.

Nah 6 hundredths gives a little room for all the studs to fit in all the holes and even it out and when you tighten them down I think that would be fine. Are the center holes big enough for the hubs?

Yeah. The rims I bought were originally on the truck, and the lug nuts I have were also originally on the truck with these rims.
