Tremec TR-4050 swap

Advanced adapters makes a 32 spline input with the big bearing for the 205, which will adapt it to th400, 4l80e, which will go behind my 489BB. The adapter bolts to the back of the 4l80e from the t- case. However the early case,(which I have) needs to have the input side of the case bored out to fit the bigger input bearing. I see no down side, 32 spline big bearing.

After reading the documents in the link I thought of advanced adapters. I also looked at thier site and they sell the transmission. They also have clutch kits for that transmission. I think if you dig more than I did you can find everything you need.

It's being installed as we speak. I'm pacing myself so but I give it a week tops and it's done.

Gotta get the front and rear driveshafts re-done I suspect as I'm thinking they're going to need to have the length changed slightly.

Will report back shortly, the 700R4 is out and the TR4050 is waiting to go in.
