I kinda think I need to be on the hunt for a 4x4 pickup in a junkyard that I can cut the floor hump out of because after its all said and done I will need just a couple inches taller In the floor .... as some of you have already saw, ive had to cut the floor to fit this 5 speed

Floor shifted manual trans C trucks (MY6 and M20) got high humps, as did all 4wd K trucks.

Column shifted 2wd C trucks (M62/M64 manual, plus all auto trans) got low hump floors.

the advantage for the k trucks would be a screwed in hump ,so could be modified easily ,right? versus a welded in sheet

I feel like this is right.
But at the same time I recall theres a year split when removable humps became an option

Yeah, like '84 or so, they didn't bolt in anymore.

Column shifted 2wd trucks never got a bolt-in hump. Just 4x4s and floor shifted 2wds.

I believe it would help to simply have the hydraulic pedals installed and then try to find where to put the hole for master cylinder.
I have a truck with hydraulic clutch so if you need reference pictures id probably be able to help that way. Also You can probably modify the existing pedal to work more like the hydraulic pedal. I think I have an extra pedal setup that can be referenced too.

When you said you have a truck with a hydro clutch was it by chance a 87 or whatever ? I ordered a master cylinder for a 87 c10 and its got this weird angled flange on it , no sure how thats supposed to mount flush to a firewall... I was hoping maybe someone had some pics, because otherwise im chopping the flange off and going to weld on another flange that'll flat mount it.

It has to have that angle so the pushrod geometry is correct.

Yes thats how my 91 was originally. Angle master. I have converted master to something else but I should things for reference
