Hey all,
I bought a 2011 5.3 with trans and was told it was a 4 speed. Looking at it and comparing it to my friends truck it looks to be a 6 speed. I haven't been able to fully look it over yet but was wondering if anyone could identify?

Thanks for any help!

When I bought the engine and transfer combo the donor truck had 38k miles and was told it was a 4 speed 4l60e. I bought it for 3500 and when it arrived I was pretty sure it wasn't a 4l60 but wanted to make sure as I had never seen the 6 speed before.

Does anyone know how to pull the wiring harness out of the back of the 6l80e transmission? It moves around a little but I can't pull it out!!!

The outer ring twists down and it pushes the harness out of the socket. Or if it the squeeze type the just squeeze it at 9-3 and pull it straight out.
