I'm needing the identification numbers for a 205 round mounting flange right hand drop for turbo 400's. Few good reference pictures would be great to of loose ones. I have a transmission core buyer that says he can locate me some if I know what to look for and trying to find a way to explain to him. If all works out May even be able to get a few to sell. Thanks.

Not sure of the ID #'s. I believe it is 1986 and later is what you're looking for that came from 3/4 and 1 tons with Th400's. 1985 and earlier would have had the Racetrack pattern, then 86 went to the round. I'm sure someone else can confirm for certain on the year cut offs.

That's right. 1 tons ONLY got the NP205 by then. But it should be any 1 ton up through 91.

Sort of. That t-case pictured is fixed yoke from a crew cab, regular cabs got a slip yoke (I think).

I believe you are right. Crew Cabs and probably the long wheel base C&C and maybe even all C&C. Nonetheless, it's a NP205. I know the fixed yokes are more desireable so if you should break a rear axle or rear driveshaft, you can pull the driveshaft and not lose your Tcase fluid and continue on with your Front powertrain. To the best of my knowledge, that's the only advantage.

It's useful in a short wheelbase for driveline angles, you get a little longer shaft.

That would be true too. :waytogo: The NP205 I have married to the Th350 is a slip yoke that came OEM from an 80 Long Bed K10. I'd love to find a round 32 spline NP205 with bolt on yoke for the A883. I don't see that happening though since I know that bitch will be high dollar.

From what i read (i tried to find the link no luck) 81 and newer 205's all have the stub shaft not the slip yoke on the back..

I believe that to be false. Pretty certain that's false. But I won't swear to it and I'd love to be wrong.

I know exactly what you mean. Gotta be careful what you read on the internet at times. I've spread some bad research before too. And I see **** all the time on forums that I know for a fact is bass ackwards. Like, What is stronger, a Turbo 400 or a 700r4? For sure dude, go with the 700r4, it's alot stronger and has overdrive. NOT !!!

BTW, this is why when we correct someone, we correct them like adults and not run them down or call them stupid. Now if you want to be persistent and try to change the minds of 5 or 10 guys who know what they're talking about and make a total ass of yourself, well then of course you pretty much did that to yourself.
