remove the 208 transfere, sorce a car or 2wd truck tailhousing. Use my 350 torque converter, should work.

But the output shaft itself is a different length

Okay, after driving this thing 437 miles trouble free miles over this long weekend, I REALLY want an overdrive now.

And I think this is going to be my cheapest option. (They want too much for this one)

I'm not 100% sure, but I've heard that some of these R10's are the same length as my Saginaw, and some of them aren't.

Either way, I think it'll be a pretty easy swap.

You have 3.55 gears. A 30% drop puts it at 2.485. That 327 is just fine running at 2,600 rpms which is 70 mph maybe faster depending on your tire diameter. @Ricko1966 will tell you, not just me, but you need rpms with a flat tappet engine to oil the top end sufficiently. And $550 for that transmission isn't bad, but you'll need to rebuilt it no matter what.

Oh yeah, direct swap, but the outcome will not be what you expect if you install it.
