just get a good mirror from a pull a part from a gmt400. easy to find and my local yard only charges $15 for power outside mirrors.

It's a whole lot easier to replace the whole thing. You have to remove the part that holds the glass to get to the motors, remove them and usually the glass will crack.

Yep, that I'd agree with. You'll never get the glass off that without breaking it. That part is you're showing is just flat broke. At least you got the squarebody proprietary part. GMT400's 95 and later had pm's as standard equipment so should be an easy find.

I am replacing my mirror, do I have to remove the door panel or are those 3 bolts Captive on the door panel side?
