With the BTE kit, and the extra clutches/steels I ordered, I got the drum that I got from @Beast496 stacked and checked for clearance. I think it must've been a loose fit 5 clutch drum. I was able to get .045" clearance with an OEM TH400 aluminum piston and a single thin steel with 6 frictions.
That's outstanding. Should hold whatever you throw at it...Glad it's getting put to good use..

Been no updates for a while, but we've been working on it.

Ended up with .012" in rear end play and .020" front. Had to have the Sonnax front hub machined down 0.040" to get the clearances right. All came out good.

Made some clutch alignment tools since we had parts lying around.
