Hey guys, I have a 84 Chevy k10 manual trans. I’ve been adjusting the carb and distributor the day previous and took it for a test drive for about a mile, and it ran well. The next day I went to drive it and it started great and as soon as I started moving it started to rev high whenever the clutch was pressed in or it was in neutral. I was able to drive it to back to my house in high gear so the rpm wouldn’t be so high. To me it seemed high but consistent like I had the fast idle screwed in too much. I haven’t had time to adjust anything yet, and I’ll be at work today, so I wanted to see if anyone had advise on what to do. Another question is if the plate with two holes? behind the choke plate is supposed to be open at anytime?
