Stripping Paint

I have a vehicle that has been painted over the original paint. I want to remove this paint and primer to get to this original paint. I don't want to get down to the metal. What kind of stripper or other products can I use to do this? I'm looking for something that doesn't take forever. I have a certain look that I'm after that involves the original paint and primer.

Oh yeah, the secret you're looking for is elbow grease. You have to wet sand it down.

If you have big elbows it will go pretty fast LOL

That's going to be a ton of work
