Removed all rotten wood today not to bad couple of hours and 4 or 5 grinding disk

Yeah it’s fun getting the old bolts cut off
I think there’s 98 bolts ?

We used cedar boards since ours sits outside all the time and oak with clear coat won’t last long outside
and cut a groove on a table saw

And notched em to fit over the bolts
And tack welded the bolt heads to the bed

I'm going to leave the diamond plate in (welded all the way around bed) and rhino line once painted . I'm going to make steel cross braces to make up for the missing wood
