I have a 1976 GMC 6' stepside that I'm just finishing up a cosmetic restoration. Its a 15 High Sierra but I did it up to look like a base model, so vinyl seat, rubber floor, white bumpers, mirrors and wheels with dog dish caps, no chrome around front and rear windows, body colored wood, etc. One of the last things is to install the side emblems. Can anyone tell me what the base model would be called? I'm assuming not High Sierra.
Thank you

The lowest GMC trim level for 1976 would be just ‘Sierra,’ equivalent to Chevys Custom Deluxe (for 76).

This is how they would've looked, only with a 15 instead of a 25.

Thank you guys. Now I need to find some. Unless I fudge it and cut off the 'high' part. These emblems crack me up. They must weigh 10-12 ounces each. Obviously from a time when aerodynamics, wind noise and weight wasnt even a concern.
