I have a 79 k30 with a 2002 t I 350/4l80e. Swapped in a new battery and truck will turn over but not start. All fuses are good. I’m guessing fuel or spark is missing only have experience with carburetor setups. What is my next step? Thanks Pat in Denver

@Tfg Colorado if it ran right before you changed the battery, check your cable connections at both ends. Make sure you don't have a loose "pigtail" wire connection coming off near the battery terminal.

Also check the fuse for IGN and/or Injection. It's not often but sometimes a fuse will blow on older vehicles when you connect the cables.

Thanks for the input. Connections tight, fuses all good. I swapped back to the old battery after a good charge and it fired right up. Very odd

Have the battery checked where you bought it.
