What can you all recommend for a factory fit set of wires for a 350? The set I got from Autozone are definitely universal. Some are very long and some are short. I need something that fit the way they are supposed to. I would prefer pre made but if need be, a set I can cut and put boots and ends on would be a second choice. My truck is an 84 Sierra with an aftermarket 350. Thanks everyone

You're pretty much on the hook for making your own. It'll look real purdy. That's my 2 cents.
You can dress 'generic' wires back to the distributor. That will give it a more factory look.

The Taylor wire kits are pretty close if you order a kit for the proper year manifolds. But custom made is for sure the way to go.

Plus 1 on the Taylor's. I still have the top cover on my HEI and the Taylor's have the molded "nipple" on the top to plug into that. Most aftermarket ones do not.

I have a new distributor, and the it doesn't have the cover ring. My old one didn't either

I usually just get AC Delco wires
Do you get a pretty good fit with them? I looked those up just now, and even after entering my vehicle info all the sites show are for 1999 and up. Do you have a part number? Thanks

I went ahead and spent the money on a set of msd wires for my 454. They fit really well and look good.

Had a set of Taylor wires on before these. Not a bad set but I like these better. Jmo

last set I got was from Oreilly's according to my email. they fit ok, definitely not custom. i just replace the wires one at a time and use the closest length new one. My OEM wire holders are long gone, so I just ziptie them up out of the way of things.

ACDelco Spark Plug Wire Set | ACD 9618V

that's what I used on my 1990 v1500 suburban. 350TBI.

Do you know how 84 ignition. Wires were routed? You should have some very long ones because the route down the back of the block around the sides of the block and come up to the spark plugs from below, with 90 degree boots, you really don't even see much of the wire. If you're wanting to go over the manifolds and down with straight boots, look up wires for a 76 1 ton 454.

I have a drawing of the routing out of my 84 shop manual. I'll look at it and see how they were routed. I don't have any holders either, and want the cleanest look I can get.
