SM465 with vehicle speed sensor

I'm trying to replace my cabled speedometer with a digital display speedometer with an electronic sensor, is there anyone who can point me in the right direction and if someone has done it before, give me some pointers.

The '90 and later squarebodies have electric speedo and would have a VSS. But if 4x4, the VSS is on the t-case and not the trans.
