So I got all the clutch and new parts put on. Resealed the sm465 went for a test drive got back and had gear oil runnin down the front of it. Crappy gonna have to pull it out next weekend and try it again. Any tips on getting a good seal

Mine was doing that ******** kinda after I did a clutch. Sounds crazy but try the lucas oil stabilizer, it claims to slow leaks and might be worth a shot before pulling that god damn boat anchor out again.

This could also be a leak that will require a shaft swap. Did you by any chance clean some silicone or hard sealer off the front of the transmission where the shaft rides in the case? That's a common place to leak and usually even with a new shaft, it's required to put some kind of sealer over that part.

Is that the four screw plate on the lower part on trans. I put a new paper gasket and some sealer on it thought that would do it. I did the seal and gasket on the input bearing retainer too I dont think it that one leaking there dosent seem to be any oil on the clutch looking in the fork hole and feels dry inside. Its a good size leak dripping off the bottom. Dosent help that my rear main started leaking again too. I was so close to having no leaks. Just sealed up all the steering pump leaks. Im chasing them around the engine.
. Here we go again

Damn, that's nice looking. I see now on those fingers. There in steps. I can see how that can be a variable type feel, or lots of holding power without a major heavy foot. 11in or 12in?

So it feels lighter, but has more holding power. You'll like that clutch if you ever get some big power behind it.

Got it back in left it all together tcase trans. Got trans sealed up. We did rear main to but fuggers still leakin the crank is kinda pitted up so may never get it to stop. Just hope some mud does the trick. Put a new oil pump in it to now its runnin 40psi witch is better then the 20 or so it was before.
