You have a local driveline parts shop? There should be a spider gear kit available new, from what I remember, it's not expensive.

autozone wants 200 for the kit

Check that the hole, where the spider gears main pin goes through the ring~gear carrier, is`nt all wallowed out first.
If it is, You will also need a ring~gear carrier and a pin too too.

nope not wallowed out at all just took out a couple of gears suprisingly

found a 28 spline posi not sure if the 30 spline gears will fit inside it

No junkyards near you? I had to do this one time with a dodge pickup I had. Just swapped the spiders from a donor unit and it was fine.

That does you no good unless your getting the matching axles for it. What are they 5 lugs ?

I would personally just replace the whole thing with a new Detroit true trac.
