new here, having issues. I have a ‘77 step side with an inline 6 250. Recently put a new distributor in, my timing is correct and gapped my spark plugs. The truck wants to shut off under load, I can have it in park and rev to 3k smooth. I put it in drive, foot on brake it gets to about 1200-1500 rpm and shuts off. If I’m at a slow roll and give it heavy throttle I can feel it wanting to die but when I release off it comes back to life. It’s driving me nuts and don’t know if it’s a fuel related issue or an electrical. Some info, I have a Holley street avenger 2 bbl carb 500 cfm. A Holley electric fuel pump and an evil energy fuel regulator. Any insight would be appreciated!
