Hey if we're gonna post "working on the DD" pics..... This is my truck a couple weeks ago when I and friends were dropping the tank and R&Ring the fuel pump. Yes the right rear tire is only touching halfway across the tread, I had the e brake set. Had to be that high to get the damn tank out from under the truck....and yes that is a BATTERY POWERED LED LANTERN. Took us two evenings, four hours each day, each of us, plus most of the day in between for me to clean, reassemble and organize. Couldn't pull the bed because we didn't have enough people to lift it.....
I've done this on a gmt 400 in a parking lot,for a customer. I took out the bed bolts and put a scissor jack on top of the tire used a couple of 2x4s and cranked 1 side of the bed up high enough to lean in and get the pump out. Just for anyone else or if you get in this jam again.

Yes we decided if there is a next time, we're pulling/lifting the bed. We just didn't have any more people available to help....

You don't need any help, you put a scissor jack on top of the tire, crank the scissor jack up it lifts the bed high enough to get to the pump.

Bought a new Primary vehicle for my wife and I. 2026 Durango GT Plus 4X4 5.7L Hemi. Since I don't drive my Camaro or Blazer in the Winter, I'll be driving this when my wife doesn't need it this Winter.

The Stepside has been my daily driver for over 40 years. I’m giving her a break and only going to drive her around town. In steps a ‘26 Honda Civic, sweet dependable naturally aspirated 2liter 37mpg, turn the key (press the button) and go!

If it is direct injection, pay close attention to the oil you are using—specifically the noack oil volatility rating chart. Your intake valves will thank you.

Also may not be a terrible idea to look into a catch can.

This was mine.... until right before Thanksgiving. Jerk tried to get in the lane Mom was in, without bothering to notice/realize she and the truck were there....so now it looks like the last two pictures.
I started a GoFundMe to help with bills and expenses; don't know if I can save it but I gotta get it out of the storage lot before New Year's.
Here's the link if anyone wants to donate; anything is very much appreciated!

These days, I've been going back and forth between my '92 Jeep XJ and '82 Dodge Aries for daily driver use.

Okay....search "Grisso family" or "Rawhide"( my truck's name). That's how a member on gmt400.com found it.
Here's the link:
