I was gonna say, I've seen some JUNK caps that still ran but never seen a fresh one just drop a button. Guess this day and age though, anything's possible
This one had lots of miles on it when I got it from an "Uncle" off his RV, just never got around to swapping with the new ones I ordered.
3 spares since I know MSD likes to arc in the cap and carbon track, thus negating spark.

I run a electric on my 84. They aren't bad until leaves ya stranded lol. I'd like to have a s10 chassis also. Yours sits a lot lower than mine. Very cool truck man!
My '84 is gonna get one too, big block doesn't have a fuel pump boss at all.

This ones lowered 3.5" total up front with 1.5" Belltech S10 Extreme springs and 2" '98+ drop spindles with sealed hubs and dual piston calipers.
3" blocks out back with the "HD" s10 leaf packs, upgraded from the stock weak ones so I could still use it as a truck.

The wife and I took my daily up to Fall Creek Falls in Tennessee this weekend to check out some pretty scenery.

Hey if we're gonna post "working on the DD" pics..... This is my truck a couple weeks ago when I and friends were dropping the tank and R&Ring the fuel pump. Yes the right rear tire is only touching halfway across the tread, I had the e brake set. Had to be that high to get the damn tank out from under the truck....and yes that is a BATTERY POWERED LED LANTERN. Took us two evenings, four hours each day, each of us, plus most of the day in between for me to clean, reassemble and organize. Couldn't pull the bed because we didn't have enough people to lift it.....

Hopefully this will be all the major repairs for a while, other than the front end work it needs. This truck about tapped my wallet out, between parts, tools and missing 4 days of work. Then all three of us got "the crud" that's going around, keeps you in bed or close to the bathroom.... two more days off because of that.

Yup, no thanks! Missing work plus being sick I'll pass.
Trust me, we did NOT want it either!! Hopefully it's leaving soon. I feel way better today than I did yesterday. Got two long shifts of new job/promotion training, the end of the week, should be 100% by then. I have a good crew and VERY understanding supervisors (and they know I bust my a$$ when I'm there).

Yup it was .....much better than on the road though. And since it's a CCLB, that's a 34 gallon tank, over five feet long... whole truck is almost 22'.
