I am thinking about doing a cummins swap in my truck, is i did it i would swap the dodge frame or put the engine in a newer Chevy frame. So sell me on what cummins i should get 12v (it would be p pumped) or 24v (kinda thinkin 24v) and should i switch the engine into Chevy frame or keep dodge frame.

TexasOutlaw87Cummins how much do you have in your swap, if you dont mind me asking. And the only reason im thinking of a frame swap is to get more towing capacity

towing capacity ? what you mean you lift a truck you loose all of that towing cap isn't in the frame its in the suspension so you wont get any more swapping frames an it cost way to much money I got about 12,000

yea you can get one ton springs and with a cummins in the front your gonna need stronger springs also I got mine custom made from off road designs that made it for the cummins in the front so it doesn't sag on a 8in lift
