I am sourcing a new drivers seatbelt and I used a 7/8" 6 point socket to remove the bolt (if I remember correctly). Looking around in the junkyards, I see earlier models with that bolt (mines an 87) and a different style belt assy. and newer models (86's are as close as I can find) with a torx or star bolt and the same style belt as mine.

What size is that torx bolt? I really just want to buy one bit to fit that.

A T50 works too. GM has always confused me with the seatbelt bolts in our trucks, some are metric, some are standard, some are torx... and it's usually a combo of at least two types in one truck.
