If ya look at the 1985 D1500 pickup, it may have had holes on the top of the bumper for the bumperettes....maybe..
I aint sure how they bolted on.
Just a thought...

My original guess was early, little Ford Ranger. But then I remembered the earlier Cherokee XJ. It looks like an XJ bumper contour to me.
