Running an Engine outside the vehicle

I've got one of those $25 engine cradles, I'm not sure I'd trust it to hold up a rattling 6.2, but it should fit on it without any modifications.

Eeeek! Don't use that to run the engine on! Unless your garage floor is perfectly smooth, I don't even recommend rolling the engine around on it much.

Just cranking that diesel will have it laying on its side

Sorry to dissappoint, no Youtube, and I'm thinking I'll replace the steel castor wheel with a length of 4x4 and a coach bolt that can swivel out as a support.

Thanks to all for their concern, in what ever form it took :D
