Can you post a pic?

What model year? 1978?

Is it the production RPO (on the SPID label) or a separate sticker for some kind of upfitter package?

Through some more searching I did find that RMC refers to "Rolling Model Change". On page 11 of the 2012 Winter LMC catalog it does say that in 1978 the RMC trim lable was released by GM Engineering Dept which advises rolling change of 1979 trim installed on the 1978 model year

LOL I share useful information daily. You're just easily distracted by the sexiness of the squares in my sig and lose all train of thought :gathering: It's ok, I get distracted by bright, shiny objects too :hands:

We did a rolling model change on quite a few of the model years, if there wasn't a lot of content change.

Usually the last truck would come through with a handmade sign in the window (ie "Last '78) and they would skip a space on the carrier and then the next truck would have a sign ("First 79") and that would be it.

Sometimes they wouldn't even start the VIN sequence over....it would just keep climbing.

:D :word: I'm not a huge fan of the '77 trim. Much prefer the '79 trim that kinda "wraps around" the front fender from top to bottom around the side marker :)
