I have to replace my 66 Amp alternator (RPO K81)
I'd like to replace it with the same year option 94 Amp (RPO K22)

Would anybody have any suggestions or precautions I may need to know if I do this?

It bolts on just the same. You may have to clock the back half of the case so the battery power stud is in the correct location, but that's just due to the remanufacturers occasionally assembling them wrong. But you can have that issue with any older GM alternator that fits a lot of stuff.

I'm picking up the new Alternator tomorrow.
I'll update this thread on how it turns out
