I have a 1986 GMC High Sierra S/B I recently acquired and I'm looking to see if any company offers replacement option code labels (for the glove box) with the option codes for my truck's VIN.
Anyone know of a source?

For an ‘86 you might be able get original build info from the GM heritage center. Based on that info, and looking at some other examples of ‘86 glove box labels, you could fabricate one for your truck.

Agree. You can contact the GM Heritage Center for a copy of the original invoice based on your VIN. I believe it is $50 to do that. That will show all the RPO codes, pricing, build timing, discounts and original selling dealership.

Then contact Jeff at https://outintheshop.com/ to have a new SPID label itself made.

Thanks! Where would the option codes be?
Here (unless you've found a build sheet in the truck).

gloveboxoptions.com has these and prints them with your options. They print them out on real mainframe impact printers like they originally where for accurate reproductions, cool.
