Registered but never made an intro

Hello errbody.

Looks like I registered here in October of 2010 but I never posted or made an intro thread. I had a 78 stepside 2wd in 05 and commuted 35 miles one way with it until 09, when gas just started sucking too much for my long commute. So I sold it. It was pretty run down anyway.

Fast forward to 2011. I moved close to work, so it was time to ditch the fuel efficient vehicle and get another square for my new daily. I sold my Scion and decided to finally part ways with my Chevelle project that I hadn't touched much in 13 years. I bought an 85 GMC that was in pretty good shape, and pretty close to being as stock as it gets. Aside from an A/C conversion, a dash cap, and some other misc stuff, it was bone stock. After driving it like that for a couple months, I decided a drop and some 20s would be in order. Since then, the only real modification has been a sport bumper to replace the step bumper that came on it.

It's the right mid life crisis to have. I've heard of many men and women hitting that mid life crisis and cheating on their spouse after 15-20 of marriage. Tell that story to the wife, they'll usually play along nice with the project and give permission more often.
