Not to hijack here- but the front driveshaft zerk fitting on my C10 is really hard to get to, my grease gun won’t fit in there to lube it. Any tricks? I rotated the driveshaft to see if the I could get more space but doesn’t seem to help. Thanks in advance.

Sorry again to go off topic, this thread just brought it to the front of my brain.
Driveshaft? Disconnect it so you can rotate the u joint enough. 4 bolts that should come out easy and if they don’t, you should get them loose anyway. Lol

@ChuckN I got a different tip... It's called a grease needle. They have one for sale at the parts store near you. Works good. It's also how you make Ford ball joints shut up. A very common, uncommon tool

Drum brakes could be it too. The adjuster did look a bit tired last time i took it apart.

A little tip for filling differential, I use a gallon sized garden sprayer with the nozzle removed I put my 80/90 in the garden sprayer and the hose in the fill plug, give it a couple of pumps, the air pressure will push the 80/90 into the diff.

80 90? The gm guru guy told me 75 90. Anyways not a bad idea, I found one of those hand pumps that turns the 5lutres jug I bought into a giant soap dispenser. It's long but it works, just gotta tip when you get bear the bottom. Also bit of a b!tch to clean n drain the clear hose.
But yeah garden sprayer is definitely hands off sorta deal, I like it

Except that doesn’t work on a zerk fitting.

Had this one going on 40 years now. That other one looks like a needle to inflate rubber balls.

Got that one^^^^^^^^ and a couple of longer narrower ones that I do my front CV ball with. Also handy to get to the u-joint zerks that aren't exposed enough.
