I have a 78 K10 with a Dana 44 front Diff and a 12 Bolt rear. They are both leaking and was wondering what kind of Gear oil these take. 80-90 or something else.
The Codes in the glove box say that it has a locking Differential which I assume is the rear one. The way it is written almost makes it seem like it is the front one that is the locking diff.
Would I need a Friction modifier for this type of Diff or can I just use the regular gear oil. Any help would be much appreciated.
