re-seal top half?

have a sbc 350 out of a 1978, it is bored to a 355, with a couple goodies on it. after running it the there day i noticed a little coolant pool on top of the intake. is this normal? the truck itself isn't put together right but the motor is. any help?

Maybe just a loose clamp on hose? Ive noticed mine does this from time to time. I tightened clamp. Vacuum gauge shows no intake leaks. Have a 79, 350, 4 bolt main bored .030 over.

Mabey your tstat gasket it sweating? Or leaking

By any chance do you have a cooling system pressure tester? Pump it up a bit and look for leaks at hose, hose clamps, Tstat, intake runners, and any TVS (Temp Vacuum Switch) usually used for EGR or Vac advance timing restriction for NOX reduction.
