I figured since this is a rally wheel thread I would ask here. What type of screws hold the center caps on? I’d rather by from the local hardware store than from lmc or someone like that.

I figured since this is a rally wheel thread I would ask here. What type of screws hold the center caps on? I’d rather by from the local hardware store than from lmc or someone like that.
I found these sae 5/16 thread hex head with a flange in the garage that screwed right in ,but aren't quite long enough so I am going to Menards later today , I will see what they have just a little longer and maybe stainless . Probably just put all new ones in , I am missing a few and the ones I have don't match .

Getting ready to take these monsterous tires off the rims ,strip the weights and stems and clean them up. The tires hold air , but are too cracked for road use and too big for my set up.

back on the train horn project for a minute since its on the bench and in my way

5/16 got it. Thank you sir. Just might start wide wheeling mine today, get them cleaned up and see how they look.

I was gonna just put one on. But I have way too many projects and time is time There is a lip on my bedsides that would prevent having wides . there are 11 wides on there now and are really close. Thinking about 10.5's

Only bad is they are soft compound rubber. Mainly for off-road. And loud as f@#k on pavement. Gonna look for of a pic of my old 74 IH 1/ ton I used to have those exact tires on

Call me wierd but in a truck or 4x4 i LOVE loud tires!!!! I LOVE that waw waw waw down the road!

74 IH 100. 345 /727 ..When I got it and as I had fun with it. Got it for 300 off a farm sale. Just needed vac lines battery and gas tank. Joined 4x4 club , 2 in body 2 1/2 springs and blocks and Q78 / 15 Beat it up a few time. What I would give to have it back
