Racing seats-83 Silverado

Just wondering if anybody's ever swapped out the bench seat for racing seats. Is it hard to do and what modifications have to be done for them to fit? Would it be easier just to put buckets out of a k5? I really want to put a B&M ratchet shifter on the floor and loose the bench seat. Any pictures would be nice if you've got something along these lines.

I run the ProCar seats and mounts. Very little modification to fit them , had to drill two holes for each seat.
