Well no luck..here's the steering connections under hood..the thing is when I tore into the column there wasn't a snap ring or cancel cam or dust cover..so the steering wheel was completely flush with the column. I guess I'll just live with the gap.

Has anyone adjusted their column up or down? I see some posts of people doing this but different vehicles.
