Could this possibly be a broken vacuum line? It has a small hole running through it. Look to be broken off, or could be a nipple for something?

I think that is the line that powers the HVAC control system. Easy enough to test - if your HVAC controls don't work now, but do when you "vacuumize" :anitoof: that line, you will know.

yup vac for ac heat vents. I found some small 1/8 id tubing then took some shrink tube (the stuff for wires ) and shrunk a couple pieces of that on that tube then slide the 1/8 inch tubing over that for a tight fit. then you can hook it up to a vac can .... I just had to put in a new harness for the heater/ac and this is what i had to do for my vac line.. (i had an engine fire burned up most all wires )
