Hello all, I'm working on my 84 C10 power windows. I don't have power to the switch and the wires in the door are not broken. Gone to the fuse block and there is a open spot on the WDO spot. I know there show be a something plugged in there, but I dont know what Im looking for, is it a big metal 12v fuse or is it a wire with a connector? Does anyone have a pic of their 84 fuse block with the connectors in it? The guy before has gone through and unplugged a lot of wires and sensors that Im trying to resort and fix. Thanks for the help.

That small metal 'box' in the fuse box is a circuit breaker; not a fuse. There is one of those for each power window. They are usually rated at 30amps.

Make sure the wires are not broken inside the insulation just before the switch connector block.

I thought all the windows shared 12v power on the pink wire and all the windows go through a single breaker?

Mine was the single breaker with the pink wire. But there is another breaker on my fuse block.

that is PWR ACC and I think it feeds several different things, depending on model, including door locks and rear defogger.

Both windows share the same power source, which is through the pink wire.

From my 85. Yellow circle & red arrow are power windows.

Second image- look at dotted pink line

Edited: --Just saw this was an old post brought back. I should of read the date. Oh well, maybe it will help in the future.
