I swapped out the R4 compressor after the 4th brand new AC Delco failed. The bracket that holds the new Sanden compressor leaves a dangling power steering pump support. Is this bracket originally there for compressor support or power steering pump support? No issues so far with this setup. Thanks

Don't know about yours but mine I was able to bolt a piece of strap to the cylinder head accessorie bolt holes and bolt the power steering bracket to it. I've put up a pic before I ll see if I can find it. But it's pretty self explanatory bolt a piece of strap to the head extending out to intersect the power steering pump bracket.
