Potential 14B FF I'm looking at thoughts needed

Back in the day people tried to get the 14 FF from under vans as they were the same width as the front end. The reason the front is wider than the back is it is supposed to cut down on turning radius, but I can't confirm as I don't know the turn radius on a van. The vans should have a shorter wheelbase than a long bed truck, IMO. Probably closer to a short bed. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Good luck on your swap.

Thanks. I haven't made a move on it yet. I have heard of the van swap, but to be honest my preference would be to get a 14B FF from the same era truck as mine is. The main motivation on the one I posted is it's relatively close to me and the price is right. We will see what happens. Thanks.
